This beautiful vintage Bethany Staffordshire (England) blue floral chintz bangle bracelet was created from a vintage plate I curated from my favorite local thrift/antique mall here in Spartanburg, SC! Chintz refers to an over-all pattern usually of flowers and/or scroll-work on the full item or on the rims. This pattern was produced in the 1980's.
The design for this bracelet was chosen from the plate, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china pendant.
The bracelet is silver plated & has a hinged opening. The china piece is 1" in diameter.
