This gorgeous bangle bracelet was created from a pattern called 'Williamsburg Potpourri' by Wedgwood that I lucked out & curated from my favorite antique mall in Landrum, SC! This 'Williamsburg Potpourri' pattern was so popular it was manufactured for 42 years (1956 – 1998) by the Wedgwood China company, based in England. It is one of their more colorful & popular Queen's Ware patterns ~ Queen's Ware is a type of light white earthenware with a brilliant glaze developed from creamware by Josiah Wedgwood & named in honour of his patroness, Queen Charlotte.
The design for this bracelet was chosen from the bread plate, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china pendant.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a oval shaped antiqued silver over brass hammered bangle bracelet bezel. The setting measures 25mm (just under 1") x 18mm (just under 3/4").
