These beautiful & totally fabulous chintz porcelain by Royal Winton earrings have been crafted out of a saucer from their "Green Paisley" chintz pattern. Chintz refers to an over-all pattern usually of flowers and/or scroll-work on the full item or on the rims. This pattern was produced by Royal Winton porcelain from the 1923 to 1960s. Now you, too, can own a beautiful piece of history transformed into lovely wearable art!
This particular earring design was chosen from the saucer, cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & protect the vintage china part of the pendant.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain pieces into awesome rectangle shaped hammered antique silver over brass earring bezels that have a total length of 1.5" long x 1" wide. The pendant piece measures .75" long x 1" wide. The earrings are hung Nickel-Free earwires with a little white accent bead.
