Spend a creative Saturday morning immersed in clay at Reinvintage Warehouse with Judy Griggs of Muddy Hands Pottery.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own handmade ceramic tray using beginner-friendly hand-building techniques. Judy will guide you step-by-step through shaping, texturing, and personalizing your piece, making this class approachable for complete beginners while still offering plenty of room for creativity and artistic expression.
Your finished tray can be functional, decorative, or both — perfect as a jewelry dish, coffee table accent, catch-all tray, or small serving tray. Participants will have the opportunity to add texture and design details that reflect their own personal style, creating a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece to enjoy at home or give as a meaningful handmade gift.
This workshop is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and creatively inspiring. Whether you’ve always wanted to try working with clay or you’re simply looking for a unique creative experience, this is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and make something by hand in community with others.
After the workshop, Judy will take each tray back to her studio for firing and finishing. Participants will be notified once pieces are ready for pickup at a later date.
