This uniquely fabulous Vintage China Pendant Necklace was crafted from a stunning Japanese Imari collector's plate from the 1950's! This plate was inspired by 17th century Japanese Imari Porcelain. They took their design cues from the colorful Japanese textiles of the day. I just lived how the plate features traditional & symbolic pink peony flowers with a pair of the sweetest of birds fluttering around in the centre with contrasting diamond shaped light & cobalt blue colored geometric panels! For this stunning piece, I was able to capture one of those beautiful birds for you!
~ I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a trapezoid shaped gunmetal plated zinc-based alloy bezel that measures 1 3/4" long, 1 1/4" at its widest point.
~ The necklace is 18" gunmetal link chain with a lobster claw clasp.
*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
